2016-2017 3rd Grade Supply List

3rd Grade Supply List for 2016-17
 
package of pencils (sharpened at home)
large plain eraser (only plain erasers are allowed in the classroom)
one SOFT pencil case for supplies (pencils, crayons, erasers, etc.)
glue stick
pair of child’s scissors
ruler (12 inches, with inches AND centimeters marked)
small box of crayons (no more than 24)
highlighter (any color)
red pen (for checking word)
package of loose leaf paper
package of 3x5 index cards box of tissues (You will likely be asked to bring in a 2nd box of tissues around January!)
2 two-pocket folders (in addition to the SFA folder you will purchase from the school)
5 black and white marble composition books. Please label the books with your child’s name only.  We will be labeling in a special way in September.
Labeling all supplies with your child’s name is a great idea!

1 package of baby wipes (Last names A-D only)
1 roll of paper towels (Last names E-Z only)

$20 fee for the following supplies:
  • SFA assignment pad
  • SFA folder
  •  Craft supplies

Please send the fee in an envelope labeled “3rd grade supply fee” and your child’s name.  Cash is preferred.  Thank you!


Please note:
*Supplies may need to be replenished throughout the year.
*Specials Teachers (Art, Italian, Music)may request specific supplies for their classes in September.
*Bookbags must be worn or carried (not rolled or dragged) at all times in the building.  Please keep this in mind when choosing a backpack.  Backpacks with wheels may be too heavy for younger children to carry.
